Executive Director for the Western Australian Health Translation Network

The WA Health Translation Network (WAHTN) is an Advanced Health Research and Translation Centre established as an unincorporated body,  comprising all health researchers in Western Australia with the cooperation of  Curtin University, The Department of Health, Edith Cowan University, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospital, Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, King Edward Memorial Hospital, Lions Eye Institute, Lung Institute of Western Australia, Murdoch University, Notre Dame University, Princess Margaret  Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, the Telethon Kids Institute, the University of Western Australia and the Western Australian Neuroscience Research Institute. Its vision is to achieve better health outcomes for the Western Australian community through integrated discovery, translation and clinical care delivery.  Members of the WAHTN undertake research in cardiometabolic, cancer, respiratory. neurodegenerative, ophthalmology, child health and indigenous research.

As Executive Director you will develop the vision and create an environment in which innovative health and medical research will lead to improved care for patients and the health of the community and engage, enthuse and negotiate with key stakeholders to support the WAHTN and to market the WAHTN to the broader community and Government.
