Institute for Respiratory Health

The Institute for Respiratory Health is a charitable organisation and one of Australia’s only integrated scientific and clinical research institute dedicated specifically to investigating respiratory disease.

Established in 1999, the Institute is a non-government, not for profit organization which was founded by Professor Philip Thompson, a leading respiratory clinician who is well recognised for his achievements in research and clinical respiratory medicine.

We are incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act (WA), are a registered charity and have been endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a deductible gift recipient for donations.

The operations of the Institute are overseen by a Board of Directors and an Annual Report is produced for its members.
