September LIFE Group Meeting
Getting the most from your inhaler with Kate Smith
Join us for our September LIFE Group meeting, where special guest speaker Kate Smith, Clinical Lead, Respiratory Care Nurses and Allied Health at Lung Foundation Australia, will join us virtually via Teams.
Kate Smith

With over 40 years’ experience across nursing, Kate is passionate about practical, person-centred care and creating a space where people living with lung conditions can share experiences and build confidence in managing their health.
Did you know up to 90% of people don’t use their inhaler correctly? Kate will walk through practical tips to help you get the most from your device, including different inhaler types, common technique mistakes, and spacers and device aids. There will be time for questions.
About the LIFE Group
Lung Information and Friendship for Everyone (LIFE) is a lung health support group connecting people living with chronic lung conditions across Perth for over 30 years.
Run by, and for people, with chronic lung disease, their families, carers and supporters, members share their experiences and learn better ways to cope with lung conditions. It’s the perfect place to connect with other people living with lung disease, who know exactly what you’re going through.
