Your Body Talks
Your body talks. Are you listening? These are the warning signs your lungs might need attention. If any of them feel familiar, don't wait.
A cough that hangs around for more than eight weeks isn't something to push through. Coughing up mucus, phlegm or blood, or a cough that disrupts your sleep, these are signs worth taking seriously.
Have I had this cough for weeks and just got used to it?
Many people put it down to getting older or being unfit. But unexplained shortness of breath, especially when it doesn't match your activity level, could indicate a problem with your lungs you don't yet know about.
Am I struggling with things that used to be easy?
Not just tired, the kind of exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix. It affects your concentration, your memory, your mood. When your lungs aren't working properly, your whole body feels it.
Is rest actually making me feel rested?
If any of these feel familiar, don't ignore them. Get your free lung check or speak to your doctor.
