Protective anti-bacterial responses

Protective anti-bacterial responses

The Stem Cell Therapy Unit is currently studying the effects of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) treatment and the role of exosomes on inflammation and immune cells of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients.

The aim of this ongoing study of non-typeable haemophilus influenza infection in COPD is to characterize anti-bacterial responses of T-cells and monocytes for patients living with COPD.
