What’s the importance of mechanotransduction pathways in pulmonary fibrosis?
Visiting speaker Professor Gisli Jenkins is a respiratory physician and cell & molecular biologist studying how the lung responds to injury to understand what drives progressive pulmonary fibrosis rather healing, repair and regeneration. He is an NIHR Research Professor, he leads the Margaret Turner Warwick Centre for Fibrosing Lung Diseases at the National Heart and Lung Institute and is an honorary consultant physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London.
