About the speaker:
Associate Professor Sadatsafavi is a researcher and academic based at UBC, with affiliations to the Centre for Heart Lung Innovation, the Division of Respiratory Medicine and the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Evaluation.
His research interests include epidemiology with a focus on decision analysis at both clinical and policy levels, as well as advancing epidemiological methods. He is involved in various studies in asthma and COPD, particularly in developing and validating prediction models, cost-effectiveness modelling of emerging health technologies, and using health administrative databases to measure burden of diseases.
