With an extensive background in research strategy, higher education and government sectors, Carina brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.

Carina’s strategic vision and pragmatic approach have led to significant achievements. She currently leads the UWA Research Ethics and Integrity portfolio and is passionate about enhancing public trust in research and ensuring the research ecosystem is healthy.

Carina holds a PhD in population genetics and a postgraduate law degree. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Her expertise in research integrity, data and digital solutions and strategic planning makes her an invaluable addition to our board.
