Associate Professor John Blakey is a Consultant Respiratory at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Research Leader at the Institute for Respiratory Health. He has extensive experience in developing and managing asthma services in the UK and has a strong record of activities relating to clinical quality improvement. Dr Blakey has adjunct positions with Curtin University and UWA and is an advisor for Asthma Australia. His research focuses on airway diseases with projects relating to the future risk of asthma attacks, the use of newer connected technologies and a personalised approach to managing asthma.
